14U Girls Baseball Program Overview 

The CBS 14U Girls Baseball program is for female athletes aged 13-14, providing a fun and supportive environment to play baseball in an all-girls division. As part of the "A League of Their Own," this program allows players to experience the game with a focus on development and teamwork, with the added excitement of female players taking on the pitcher position for the first time. 

Program Details 

• Age Group: 13-14 years old (current calendar year) 
• Session Length: 120 Minutes 
• Roster Size: Approximately 14 players 

Required Equipment 

• Glove, Batting Helmet, Bat, Hat (supplied), Jersey (supplied), Athletic Support (i.e. jock or jill), Long Pants 
• Recommended: Baseball Pants, Cleats 
• Optional: Batting Gloves 

Note: Baseball hats and jerseys must be worn to each game. 

Rules of Play

Coaching 

 Each team will have 2-3 coaches (1 Head Coach, 2 Assistants) based on volunteer numbers. 

• Head Coach: 
  • Makes batting and fielding line-ups 
  • Coaches a base when hitting 
• Assistant Coaches: 
  • Coach a base when hitting 
  • Keep players safe on the bench 
  • Call out the batting order 
  • Assist with hitting and fielding instruction 

This program is a great way for female athletes to improve their skills, have fun, and be part of a supportive team!
